2023-2024学年早注册优惠至4月17日星期一。
- 早注册费用$390 ($40 折扣)
- 此费用包含全学年学费及书簿费

硬笔书法比赛获奖作品展示
2023硬笔书法比赛获奖作品将于 4 月22日至 5 月中旬在John G. Diefenbaker High School一楼大堂展示，敬请家长欣赏。热烈祝贺所有获奖学生，各年级冠军将获得“黄国梁先生书法奖学金”。
第二学期考试——5 月 6 日星期六
第二学期期末考试即将到来。如果学生无法参加考试，请于4月27日之前向老师及学校提出申请，以便提早或延期考试，过期将不予受理。
提早考试日期：4 月 29 日星期六
延期考试日期：5 月 13 日星期六
对于任何延期考试，成绩将按85%计算。祝愿每位同学考试顺利，马到成功！
9 年级和 12 年级毕业礼袍
我们学校将赠送毕业礼服予9年级和12年级毕业生。如果还没有领取礼袍的毕业生，请尽快到JGD 121 办公室领取。
2023毕业典礼将于 6 月 3 日星期六隆重举行，希望全体毕业生穿着整齐的毕业礼服与家长、老师及嘉宾分享这喜悦时刻。
失物招领
由4月起，失物招领箱将放在JGD一楼大堂询问处。请有遗失物品的学生家长尽快认领。5 月 27 日之后所有剩余无人认领物品将会被捐赠。
第二学期成绩单——6 月 3 日星期六
学校将于6月3日之前通过电子邮件发送第二学期成绩单。

We hope you are enjoying your Spring Break! The second semester TCA examinations are almost upon us. The Chinese Academy wishes every student the best of luck in their exams.
Please kindly read the email carefully, as it contains important reminders and information.
2023-2024 Early Bird & Option Classes Registration
2023-2024 Early Bird Registration ends on Monday, April 17.
- Early bird registration tuition price – $390 ($40 discount)
- Tuition covers the entire school year and all class materials
Please note that registering early is very important to our school’s planning.
Parents are encouraged to share the registration information of our school with your relatives and friends. Referee will receive a $10 gift card for every new student referral. This gift card will be available for pick up starting October 2023.

- In-person registration at the Centre Street Office – Tuesday to Thursday 9 am – 5 pm, Friday 9 am – 1 pm
- In-person registration at the Saturday JGD Office – Saturday 9 am – 4 pm
Students who register for both Chinese classes and Option classes will receive a $10 gift card. This gift card will be available for pick up starting in October 2023.
KidSport Financial Bursary available for those who qualify. Please contact the office for more information. The application form can be found on the KidSport website at: http://www.kidsportcanada.ca/apply-for-assistance/
Calligraphy Competition
Calligraphy Competition winners will be displayed outside of the JGD office starting April 22 until mid-May. Congratulations to all the winners.
Second Semester Exam – Saturday, May 6
If the student is unable to attend, please email our office before April 27 to arrange for the early exam date. Requests after April 27 will not be accepted.
Early Exam Date: Saturday, April 29
Deferred Exam Date: Saturday, May 13
For any deferred exam, the exam mark will be deducted by 15%.
Grade 9 & 12 Graduation Gown
If you have not picked up your graduation gown in March, please come visit our office as soon as possible. The graduation ceremony will be on Saturday, June 3.
Lost and Found
The Chinese Academy will be clearing our lost and found on May 27. We will be placing our lost and found outside the office near the Information Desk starting in April.
All unclaimed items after May 27 will be donated.
Second Semester Report Card – Saturday, June 3
The Chinese Academy will be distributing the second semester report cards via email by June 3.
If you have not received the student’s report card by Tuesday, June 6, please email us at thechineseacademy@gmail.com or call us at 403-777-7663.
For high school students, high school marks will be reported to Alberta Education by the end of June. It can be viewed on the student’s Alberta Education myPass system.
