 中国农历新年 —— 不上课

温馨提示：2023年1月21日是中国新年除夕，当天不用上课。1月28日将照常上课。

学校办公室将于1月21日至1月23日放假，1月24日星期二开始恢复照常办公。

2023-2024 早注册优惠

2023-2024学年中文课程早注册将于1月14日开始！早注册可享受$40 折扣，优惠价为$390，此费用包括全学年学费及书簿费。

欢迎您与亲朋好友分享我校的注册信息。任何推荐新学生到我们学校的人士将获得一张$10礼品卡以作酬谢。此礼品卡可于2023年10月领取。

IB中文课程校内评估

2023年IB 口语考试将于1月28日、2月4日、2月11日在 John G. Diefenbaker High School 二楼图书馆进行。请在JGD校区二楼上课的班级在走廊尽量保持安静，共同创设良好的考试环境给12年级IB学生。

Happy New Year! The Chinese Academy hopes our school community had a wonderful holiday season. The Chinese New Year is coming up on January 22, 2023. We wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year.

Please kindly read this email carefully, as it contains important reminders and information.

Chinese New Year – No School

This is a friendly reminder there are no classes on Saturday, January 21, 2023, because of the Chinese New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, January 28, 2023!

The office is closed from Saturday, January 21 to Monday, January 23, 2023. We will be back to normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

2023-2024 Early Bird Registration

The 2023-2024 Early Bird Registration begins on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Early bird registration price is $390. This is a $40 discount from our full tuition of $430. This tuition is for the full school year and includes the textbook fee.

The Chinese Academy would like to remind parents that registering early is very important to our school’s planning. We really appreciate you help with our 2023-2024 school preparation. 

Parents are welcome to share the registration information of our school with your relatives and friends. Referee will receive a $10 gift card for every new student referral. This gift card will be available for collection starting in October 2023.

Parents can register in-person at our Centre Street Office or at our Saturday JGD office in room 121 during our operating hours. Parents can also register via our online registration system linked below.

First Semester Report Cards

The Chinese Academy will be distributing the first semester report cards via emails before January 20, 2023. If you have not received the student’s report card by January 24, 2023, please email us at thechineseacademy@gmail.com or call us at 403-777-7663. 

Virtual Information Night Reminder

The Chinese Academy will be hosting a Virtual Information Night on ZOOM in January 2023. During this Information Night you will be presented with an introduction and overview of our school. You are welcome to invite all your family and friends.

IB Internal Assessment

IB Internal Assessment will begin on January 28, 2023 run until February 11, 2023 in the John G. Diefenbaker High School second floor library area. The Chinese Academy would like to remind students with classes on the second floor of the John G. Diefenbaker High School to remain as quiet as possible in the upstairs hallways.
