校舍安全
提醒所有学生注意，为了确保学生安全，以下学校区域禁止进入：
- John G. Diefenbaker High School 地下室
- John G. Diefenbaker High School 二楼图书馆
- Sir John A. Macdonald School 二楼
- Sir John A. Macdonald School 体育馆舞台
星期六上课日任何时候都不允许学生进入以上区域。

美劳比赛
为了培养学生的审美创作能力，激发学习兴趣，我校将于10月15日星期六进行幼儿园至六年级的美劳比赛。请小学各班学生自备彩色纸、彩色笔、儿童剪刀、固体胶等美劳用品。

如果推荐新学生来就读亚省中文学校，您即可获得 $10 礼品卡奖励。请于10月15日之后星期六上课日前来 John G. Diefenbaker高中 #121校务处领取，或星期二至星期四到维德广场办公室领取。
兴趣班–中文班礼品卡

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for a smooth start to the new school year! Over the past month, we have thoroughly enjoyed having your child back learning with us at The Chinese Academy (TCA).
Please kindly read this email carefully, as it contains important reminders and information.
Saturday, October 8th – No Class:
There is no school on Saturday, October 8th. We hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving long weekend!
Media Consent:
Please complete the Media Consent Form by Monday, October 17th (Link: Click Here). Please refer to the Media Consent Form for more details.
Campus Safety:
All students are reminded that the following campus area are off limits:
- John G. Diefenbaker High School basement area
- John G. Diefenbaker High School second floor library
- Sir John A. Macdonald School second floor
- Sir John A. Macdonald School stage area
Students are not permitted to enter these areas at any time on Saturdays.
We would also like to remind parents and families that The Chinese Academy will have security staff and guidance teachers at both John G. Diefenbaker High School and Sir John A. Macdonald School every Saturday. These important staff members are present to ensure our students and school are safe. They may ask you in the hallways who you are and if you require any help due to security reasons. School safety is a priority for The Chinese Academy. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
Photo Day:
We are planning to take our annual school photo on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, weather permitting.
Arts & Crafts Competition:
Our Kindergarten to Grade 6 classes will have an Arts & Crafts Competition on Saturday, October 15th, 2022. Students from grades 1 to 6 are requested to bring their own colouring pencils, scissors, glue and other art supplies.
Referral Gift Card:
If you have referred a student to attend The Chinese Academy, you can collect your $10 gift card at our John G. Diefenbaker office on Saturday or our main office on Centre Street from Tuesday to Thursday starting October 15th.
Option Class – Chinese Class Gift Card:
If your child has registered for both option class and Chinese class with us, you can collect your $10 gift card at the John G. Diefenbaker office on Saturday or our main office on Centre Street from Tuesday to Thursday starting October 15th.
Parent Orientation:
We will be hosting our annual Parent Orientation later this month. More details will be shared via another email.
IB Chinese Scholarship Application:
The Chinese Academy has instituted some changes to our IB scholarship application process. Please visit our website (Link: Click Here) for the full details on the application process. A separate email with details of the application process have also been sent to all high school students enrolled in the IB program.
