We are pleased to announce that The Chinese Academy will be offering a Pinyin FUNdation Class starting on January 10, 2026.
Pinyin is the cornerstone of accurate pronunciation and early reading, and it also serves as a bridge between traditional handwriting and the digital age. Mastering Pinyin enables students to type Chinese smoothly on computers and mobile devices, building a solid foundation for future learning and communication. We believe that an engaging and enjoyable introductory Pinyin class can open the door to Chinese learning and spark long-lasting interest in the language.
Course Information
- Date: January 10 – April 25, 2026 (13 sessions)
- Class Time: Saturdays, 12:15 PM – 12:45 PM (30 minutes)
- Suitable For: Beginners of all ages
- Tuition: $60
Through fun interactive activities and games, students will easily grasp Pinyin while systematically training pronunciation, tones, and spelling. At the same time, they will build Pinyin reading and Chinese typing skills, laying a strong foundation for future Chinese learning.
