Mainstream Classes
The Chinese Academy offers mainstream program courses in Mandarin and Cantonese from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Students who attend the Mandarin class can choose to learn either simplified or traditional characters.
Students who attend the Cantonese class will learn the traditional characters.
Students in Grade 10-12 can earn High School credits upon completion of each grade (5 credits per grade, 15 credits in total)
Students who are registered in the IB program at their English school can choose to enroll in the IB Chinese program at The Chinese Academy. Classes are the same as the mainstream classes except IB students are required to take the IB exams in grade 12.
Classes are 3 hours long every Saturday, excluding holidays. Classes are offered in the morning (9am-12pm) and in the afternoon (1pm-4pm)
