下学年中文课程早鸟注册优惠将于2026年2月3日正式启动。
- 第一期早注册优惠学费为 $390 (已减免$70)
- 第一期早注册优惠截止时间:4月15日 11:59PM
- 此费用包括全学年学费及书簿费
- 班级安排将于 2025 年 9月初通过电子邮件公布

February marks the heart of our second semester, and we are excited to see our students back in full momentum. This month also brings the joy and cultural significance of Chinese New Year, which provides meaningful opportunities for students to learn about traditions, language, and heritage. We are proud of the growth shown during the first semester and look forward to celebrating continued progress throughout February and beyond.

Family Day Holiday (Saturday, February 14) – No School
This is a friendly reminder there are NO classes on Saturday, February 14, due to Family Day Holiday.
2026-2027 Early Bird Registration Starts February 3, 2026
The 2026-2027 Chinese Class Early Bird Registration begins on February 3, 2026.
- Phase 1 Chinese class early bird registration tuition price – $390 ($70 discount already applied)
- Phase 1 Deadline: April 15, 2026 at 11:59PM
- Tuition includes the full school year and the textbook fee.
- Class placements will be announced via emails in early September.
- Registering early is very important to our school’s planning.
Parents are welcome to share the registration information of our school with your relatives and friends. Referrers will receive a $10 gift card for every new student referral. This gift card will be available for collection starting in October 2026.

2026-2027 Option Classes Registration
We offer option classes for children (ages 3+) and adults. Please see the link below for available classes in the 2026-2027 school year.
Students who register for BOTH Chinese classes and Option classes will receive a $10 gift card. This gift card will be available for collection starting in October 2026.
KidSport Financial Bursary available for those who qualify. Please contact the office for more information.
Parent Workshop
We are excited to launch our Parent Workshop in the new year! These sessions are designed to help families support their children’s Chinese learning at home while also parents gaining basic language skills themselves. Topics include TCA programs, High School credits, Chinese pronunciation and greetings, Chinese character formation, useful online resources and learning habits. There are some limited available spots for the upcoming sessions in February and March. It is never too late to join us!

Vending Machine Notice
Parents who choose to send money with their child to use the vending machine are reminded that:
- Vending machine is not owned/operated by The Chinese Academy
- No refunds or technical support available through TCA
- For malfunctions, please contact the service provider listed on the machine
- Students are encouraged to bring their own snacks
Badminton & Other Option Classes Survey for 2026–2027
To support planning for next school year, we are gathering information from current TCA families regarding badminton programming. This short survey will help us determine whether additional sessions are feasible and how to best schedule youth and adult classes. KidSport Calgary & Area is a local charity that relies on community support to provide fee assistance and no-cost equipment to families who otherwise could not afford to participate in sports. Many students from The Chinese Academy have utilized KidSport Calgary to receive support for their sports programs!
