好消息！根据卡城公立教育局2025年4月1日起重新开放公共场地租赁安排, 亚省中文学校将于2025年4月5日（星期六）恢复面授课程。

课程时间（2025年4月5日起生效）：

  • 中文课上午班：9:00 AM – 12:15 PM
  • 中文课下午班：12:45 PM – 4:00 PM
  • 亲子中文唱游班：延长至2025年4月26日
    • 粤语班：上午9:15-10:00
    • 普通话班：下午1:15-2:00
  • 数学辅导和成人普通话班：上课时间不变，2月22日的补课将由任课老师安排时间
  • 羽毛球、成人健康舞及交谊舞兴趣班也于4月5日恢复上课，上课时间不变。关于四堂缺课的补课安排尚在确定中， 请留意稍后更新通知。

所有课程仍在原校舍上课：

  • John G. Diefenbaker High School (6620 – 4th Street NW, Calgary)
  • Sir John A. Macdonald School (6600 – 4th Street NW, Calgary)

We are pleased to inform you that The Chinese Academy will resume in-person classes starting Saturday, April 5, 2025. This follows the Calgary Board of Education’s decision to reopen public rentals effective April 1, 2025.

Updated Class Hours (Effective April 5, 2025):

  • Chinese Morning Classes: 9:00 AM – 12:15 PM
  • Chinese Afternoon Classes: 12:45 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Parent & Tot Classes: Extended until April 26, 2025
    • Cantonese class: 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM
    • Mandarin class: 1:15 PM – 2:00 PM
  • Math Tutorials & Adult Mandarin Classes: No change to class hours. Details regarding the make up class for February 22 will be scheduled and announced by your instructor soon.
  • Badminton, Adult Cardio Aerobics and Adult Ballroom Dancing: Will resume on April 5. No change to class hours. Details regarding the makeup classes for the four missed sessions are still being finalized and will be announced soon. We will provide an update as soon as the schedule is confirmed.

Classes will take place at our regular locations:

  • Sir John A. Macdonald School (6600 – 4th Street NW, Calgary)

Important Notes:

  • Please ensure your child arrives on time and brings all necessary learning materials.
  • Health and safety guidelines will follow CBE protocols.
  • Zoom links for online learning will no longer be active after the transition to in-person classes.
